New Annual Report for 2016 published

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest annual air quality report for Wales.

The report covers the WAQFs activity in 2016 and important policy developments in 2016. As usual we review the latest trends in air pollution measurements and implications for policy compliance as well as maps of Air Quality for NO2, O3, PM10 and PM2.5 in 2016.

The area of special interest this year looks at the use of vegetation to reduce air pollution. We have also included a health chapter which this year looks at air pollution and health inequalities.

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest annual air quality report for Wales.

The report covers the WAQF's activity in 2015 and important policy developments in 2015. As usual we review the latest trends in air pollution measurements and implications for policy compliance as well as maps of Air Quality for NO2, O3, PM10 and PM2.5 in 2015.

The area of special interest this year looks at Welsh air quality exposure indicators. There is also an additional chapter this year which discusses the effect of air quality in Wales on public health.

New Annual Report for 2014 published

This year we are celebrating 20 years of the Welsh Air Quality Forum. The report highlights the policy successes since 1990, discussing pivotal pieces of legislation implemented over the last 25 years that continue to provide relevance and purpose to the group. We have also highlighted the advances of the Welsh Air Quality Forum in the last 20 years. Including increases in real-time monitoring and significant improvements in website tools. Resulting in increased competence and capacity in the field.

As usual we review the latest trends in air pollution measurements and implications for policy compliance as well as maps of Air Quality for NO2, O3, PM10 and PM2.5 in 2014.

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest annual air quality report for Wales.

For the 2013 report we have summarised recent European Policy updates. This includes the proposals to revise the National Emissions Ceiling Directive; the convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollutants; and new developments in Air Quality e-Reporting.

As usual we review the latest trends in air pollution measurements and implications for policy compliance.

We have also provided details of Air Pollution 'Episodes' in 2013. These being, a Particulate Matter episode in March 2013 and an Ozone and Particulate Matter episode in April 2013.

New Annual Report for 2012 published

We are pleased to announce the release of the 2012 annual air quality report for Wales.

This year we have outlined the Purpose and Activities of the new Natural Resources Wales body (NRW).

The annual review of the latest trends in air pollution measurements and implications for policy compliance have been carried for 2012.

There is also information on the Welsh Government's Short Term Action Plan for Port Talbot area.

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest annual air quality report for Wales.

This year we look in more detail at the causes and effects of Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution and at the Time Extension Notification to comply with the EU limit values set in the EU Ambient Air Quality Directive (2008/50/EC) for nitrogen dioxide.

We also provide a summary of the long-term trends and spatial distribution of air pollutants in Wales and the State of Environment Indicators are reviewed.

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest annual air quality report for Wales, available for immediate download. This year we examine a number of interesting air pollution episodes during 2008, resulting from both long-range transport of dust and road traffic. We also undertake comprehensive investigations of the latest trends and spatial distribution of pollutants for Wales.

This year, for the first time, we review the wide-ranging activities of the Welsh Air Quality Forum; we have also compiled case studies and practical experience of WAQF members operating the latest FDMS particulate analysers.

A comprehensive range of detailed air quality analyses, statistics, data summaries and graphs is included on a CD, provided with hard copies of the report.
